Who's Afraid of Red Yellow and Blue? #3' is the third in a series of four large-scale paintings by abstract expressionist painter Barnett Newman (1905-1970) made between 1967-1970. While hanging in the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam in 1986, it was slashed across the middle several times by a vandal, leaving large gashes. In 1991, the painting was restored.
